H. J. Stephens is a freelance writer, researcher and artist. The founder and chief editor of the electronic children’s magazine The Desert’s Hand from 2011 to 2014, she has a deep love of literature and art that inspires and educates.
Residing in Perth, Western Australia she has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and Editing and a Graduate Certificate in International Relations. When not writing, she is often buried in a book, wandering around in a virtual world, or trying to make sense of the real world.
Other interests of hers include martial arts, anime, historical fiction and research – especially that to do with East Asian politics, war, peace, trade, and economics.
